Privacy Policy

AgentChristine is a text-messaging service operated by Christine Hsu, a licensed Texas real estate agent with Compass RE Texas, LLC ("we," "us"). It provides property cost estimates and real-estate information for the Austin, Texas metro area. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read.

What we collect

• Your phone number, when you text us first.
• The messages you send us, including any addresses, links, or photos you choose to share.
• A first name and general interest (for example, buying vs. browsing) — only if you choose to tell us. You can ignore that question and the service works exactly the same.

That is the whole list. We do not collect location data from your device, we do not use advertising trackers, and our website works without cookies other than a login cookie for our own staff pages.

How we use it

• To reply to your messages — that is the service.
• To keep a record of the conversation so Christine has context when she follows up.
• To compute property cost estimates from public records (county appraisal data, tax rates, permits).

Some replies are generated by an AI assistant. Those replies are labeled as coming from the AI, and a human reviews every conversation.

What we never do

• No mobile information — including your phone number, opt-in status, or consent data — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Ever.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
• We never send marketing or promotional texts unless you expressly ask for a specific one (for example, opting in to an annual tax-protest reminder), and you can cancel any time.
• We never text first — every message we send is a reply within a conversation you started, apart from the specific reminders you expressly opt into.
• We never send payment, deposit, or wiring instructions by text, and we never ask for financial account details. If anyone claiming to be us does, it is fraud — please report it to us.
• If you text us about a property, that interest is never disclosed to the property's owner or anyone else. Conversations are private.

Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to run the service — a messaging carrier (Twilio), cloud hosting, a database provider, and an AI provider (Anthropic) to help draft labeled AI replies. They process data only to provide the service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. We share information beyond that only if the law requires it, or with a professional you explicitly ask us to connect you with (and then only the minimum needed, with your confirmation first).

Retention and your rights

• You can request a copy of the data tied to your phone number, or have it deleted, at any time — text us or email support@agent-christine.com. Deletion is honored promptly and is not conditioned on anything.
• Property owners may ask what aggregate, non-identifying activity exists for their own address and may have it wiped.
• We keep conversation records only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations that apply to licensed real-estate activity in Texas.

Texting terms (SMS program disclosure)

• You opt in by texting the number first. Message frequency varies with your conversation; we send no scheduled messages without express opt-in.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Children

The service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
