Terms of Service
AgentChristine · Effective August 28, 2026
AgentChristine is a free text-messaging service operated by Christine Hsu, a licensed Texas real estate agent (Compass RE Texas, LLC), providing property cost estimates and general real-estate information for the Austin, Texas metro area. By texting the number or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, simply do not use the service — and reply STOP to end texts at any time.
1. The service, and the texting program
- You start every conversation. Texting the number is your opt-in to receive conversational replies. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
- Optional recurring messages (such as an annual tax-protest reminder) are sent only with your separate, express opt-in and can be canceled any time.
- Some replies are generated by an AI assistant and are labeled as such. A human reviews conversations and follows up personally.
- The service is available to U.S. residents 18 or older.
2. Estimates are estimates
- Cost figures are planning-level estimates built from public records, stated assumptions (down payment, loan term, interest rate, homestead status), and estimated insurance. They are not quotes, offers, appraisals, loan commitments, or guarantees, and actual costs will differ.
- Tax amounts depend on rates and exemptions that change; school assignments and development data come from official sources but change too. Verify anything you rely on with the relevant authority.
- Renovation ranges and lot-potential screens are rough planning tools only. Deed restrictions, trees, utilities, and site conditions require professional, in-person evaluation.
3. Not legal, tax, lending, or investment advice
Nothing in this service is legal, tax, lending, insurance, or investment advice, and no message creates an agency, brokerage, or fiduciary relationship. Representation, if you ever want it, is established only by a separately signed written agreement. For advice on your specific situation, consult the appropriate licensed professional.
4. Fraud protection — read this one
AgentChristine will never send you payment, deposit, escrow, or wiring instructions by text or email, and will never ask for bank account details. Real estate wire fraud is common and devastating. If you receive any payment instructions that appear to come from us, they are fraudulent — do not act on them, and report them to us at support@agent-christine.com and to the FBI at ic3.gov.
5. Fair housing
We comply with the Fair Housing Act and Texas law. The service provides objective, attributed data (such as official Texas Education Agency ratings and public permit records) and will not characterize neighborhoods, schools, crime, or residents, or steer anyone based on protected characteristics — and will decline requests to do so.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the service unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, probe other people's information, or send abusive content. Volume limits apply to automated lookups; we may suspend numbers that abuse the service. Content you send must be yours to send.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to $100, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made in reliance on estimates. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or your non-waivable rights under Texas real-estate law.
8. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. General
These terms are governed by Texas law, with venue in Travis County, Texas. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stand. We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page with its effective date, and continued use after a change is acceptance.
10. Required notices
Texas law requires we provide the TREC Information About Brokerage Services and the TREC Consumer Protection Notice.
